Our God is Holy - we are called to be holy even as He is holy. Why decline the experience and collective wisdom of the traditional Catholic Church? This is the Church that has produced great saints throughout the ages! I suspect that the Church knows something that is more reliable and trustworthy than MY opinion or feelings....
So, how can the blind make a safe journey without a worthy guide? Are subjective opinions and feelings really good enough for the blind to find their way? Are we really smart enough to make it up as we go along based on personal experience? Haven't we all been decieved by our desires, perceptions and thoughts at one time ot the other? In the end, we only THINK that we can see without the Light of Christ.
