Cilice Prayer book

Does anybody know of a good book which discusses the use of the Cilice or discipline as apart of prayer ?

Can I second this request? Is there any good literature out there people are aware of focusing on this topic?

Lorrd, Jesus Christ,

By the wearing of this cilice may I be reminded of the pain that You suffered for my sins and for the sins of the world, and help me to also remember my brothers and sisters who suffer physically today for their Faith in your Name. By Your Good Grace, strengthen those who are persecuted for their Faith, help us to recognise my sins, humbly asking that You will forgive the same and that through this penance, I may be brought in to greater union with You, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, so that in all places and at all times I may serve You faithfully, not for my glory, but for Yours.

Amen.

With this in mind you could be the man Bro.Paul...

Remember, "Holy purity is given by God when it is asked for with humility."

Or perhaps a collection of personal stories (anonymously of course) so people can share with others the great blessings received through this type of penance. :| I would love to hear exactly how others use and what they gain from the use of the cilice and discipline. :geek:
