Rosary

Recently I have been trying to pray the Rosary whenever I can. If I am alone in the house long enough, I try to pray all four sets of mysteries. At present my d is home all day, and I really miss my time alone with the Rosary.

When I get to the sorrowful mysteries, I pray kneeling, and when I get to the crucifixion, with arms outstretched. I pray three decades, for the three hours that the Lord was on the cross. This gets quite challenging by the end, even though I 'rest' by bowing at the Lord's Prayer. Sometimes that bow is much more like a flop than a bow!

What I have experienced sometimes is an image or imagining - I am not claiming anything more than that - of the view from the cross. This is not what I try to imagine; it just comes. Normally - always - I am at the foot of the cross, kneeling before it. But sometimes the vision shifts, and I am looking down at the Blessed Mother and the Blessed John. This lasts for a few moments, and then I revert to the foot again.

I have 'seen' angels before, quite often, because of my illness. I am used to that, and can 'find' them whenever I want to. And I have had visions of the Lord, generally at a short distance. I have never had this kind of image occur before.

So, that is all, really. A good imagination. And a blessing.
